Dr. Vanesa Flagel is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for providing compassionate end-of-life care for pets. After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires in 2016, Vanesa worked primarily with sheep cattle in her home region of South Patagonia. This experience brought her to New Zealand eight years ago, where she transitioned to small animal practice and discovered her love for it. Vanesa believes that part of loving our animals is helping them pass on when their time has come. Vanesa strives to make this difficult time as easy as possible, providing a painless, stress-free, and dignified end for our furry friends.
Dr Kim Fryer graduated from Massey University in 1994. She spent almost 20 years as owner of a busy companion animal, avian and exotics practice in Australia before returning to Franklin in 2022. Her long career has allowed her many opportunities to witness and be part of the strong bond we form with our pets, many of her patients becoming as cherished by her as they were their owners. Kim believes passionately that every animal deserves not only a good life, but a good death too. As a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian, she is honoured to help pets pass away peacefully, easing their pain and providing comfort to those who loved them.
